The Alaskan Malamutes are very smart dogs but they can be hard to train. They have a very independent streak that needs to be tamed and controlled through proper training from when they’re little puppies. This is why it is recommended that they be enrolled in puppy training classes or be trained by experience dog owners. It is common for Alaskan Malamutes to be resourceful because of the hard environment they come from.
