Yes, Weimaraners shed. In the dog community, Weimaraners are considered to be moderate shedders. They shed a little bit throughout the year and twice a year they will shed a lot more than usual.
Weimaraners in America usually come in a shorthaired grey coat. Given that they are shorthaired dogs, it is surprising that they do shed a moderate amount.

Managing Your Weimaraner’s Shedding
